An Engagement Session on Portland’s South Waterfront

Forecast: Rain, partly sunny, cloudy, sunny, surprise snow?!? Ok, weather app which one is it! 😡🤯

The past two weekends we have found ourselves staring at the weather app watching the forecast change as we prepare for our engagement sessions!

The forecast was for rain but on the day of Molly and Matt’s engagement session it turned out to be cloudy and the sunset was breaking through the clouds toward the end of their session! Yup, Portland during sunset is pretty stunning!

We ventured around the Hawthorne Bridge and down toward the waterfront area at OMSI!

This engagement session was during the winter season so was a little chilly! However, when the sun peaked out it was warm and felt great!

Molly and Matt are by far the friendliest couple I have worked with. During the entire engagement session they were chatting, smiling, excited and having tons of fun!

They let me know toward the end that they do not usually enjoy having their photos taken and feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. I was shocked because they are 100% naturals and their love for each other shows easily and they are so comfortable together!

They are getting married this year at the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel and I am more than excited to see how their beautiful wedding turns out! Especially excited for some just married sunset photos on the docks at the SW Waterfront!

Enjoy this little selection of images from Matt and Molly’s engagement session and leave a comment of congratulations for them in the comments below!
