Jaclynne + Tom

A beautiful spring wedding at Kiana Lodge in Northern Washington

I’m a sucker for a gorgeous neutral wedding palette, but Man was it so fun to walk into the reception hall of Jaclynne and Tom’s amazing, bold, peacock-themed wedding! As a fellow purple-fan myself it was so fun to see all the bold blues, greens and purples that adorned the tables, centerpieces and wedding party attire not to mention some stunning floral arrangements by Garden Party.

The road to this beautiful wedding day started when Jaclynne and Tom were 13 years old. They met at their local Baptist Church and being in youth group together, Jaclynne and Tom became friends. As they grew older and their lives took them apart, but love brought them back together 6 years ago to reconnect forming what became a more romantic relationship.

Jaclynne and Tom’s adult relationship has flourished to included ample time adventuring in the outdoors. They plan frequent hiking and camping trips together and enjoy every moment that they get to spend together outdoors!

When I first arrived at their wedding venue, Kiana Lodge, it struck a chord with my own love for the outdoors. Kiana Lodge is the perfect outdoor location; nestled in the privacy of Port orchard with a view of the bay and grounds that are stunningly adorned with blooming bushes. To add to the beauty of the blossoming springtime plants, there were willow trees, gently blowing in the ocean breeze.

Jaclynne and Tom’s wedding day was full of wonder, love, and beauty! It’s always an honor to be chosen to shoot a wedding, and I’m glad that I could be there to celebrate and commemorate the wedding of these two wonderful people!
