Kaitlyyn + Tyler
A snowy engagement session at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood
This engagement session had me falling in love with this couple from the moment I met them!
Kaitlyyn and Tyler are authentic high school sweethearts! They started dating officially after Tyler sent roses to each one of Kaitlyyn’s classes as a way to ask her out to prom. If that doesn’t scream fairytale, I don’t know what does!
Kaitlyyn and Tyler have an amazing relationship together. They both attended the University of Oregon where Kaitlyyn became a banker and Tyler a commercial welder and they just bought their dream property in Eugene where their two dogs, Koda (a four year old Blue Heeler) and Yoshi (a three year old Border Collie) love to romp and play.
While Shooting their engagement photos, I got to learn a little more about Tyler’s family. Both Tyler and his family love to line dance and his mom used to do it professionally! (I can only hope that line dancing makes it into the events of their wedding day!)
Both Kaitlyyn and Tyler are snowboarders, so planning their engagement shoot up on top of a mountain was a no brainer. While the winter season is drawing to a close, there was still plenty of beautiful snow up on Mount Hood near Timberline Lodge which made for the truly incredible photos you’ll see below!
It was a real pleasure getting to chat with Kaitlynn and Tyler about their hopes and dreams for the future throughout our time together. We got to talk about some of their wedding plans as well and while they are both a little overwhelmed between work, planning and moving, but Kaitlynn luckily is one of the most organized brides I know, and she’s gotten a lot of checkmarks on her wedding “to-do” list already!
