Kate’s Top 10 Centerpiece Ideas
In the world of wedding decor, the centerpiece has a tendency to be, well, basic. And while there’s nothing wrong with a potted plant or a lone candle blowing in the wind, it does beg the question of what could have been. Now I know, table decor can be rather spendy so buying fancy and expensive items is kinda like adding insult to injury when you consider how much the other parts of the wedding are gonna cost you! That’s why I’m writing this blog! I’m going to provide my top 10 centerpiece ideas, that hopefully won’t break your already stretched budget! So, let’s begin!
1) Tall Candlestick Candelabra
While this first option is a bit more expensive, it’s not terrible when you consider what you’re getting. In order to stay economical, I’d recommend only one for the head table or a different specialized table. This could be combined with a simple tri-candlestick candelabra at each table!
2) Submersible Orchid with Floating Candle
This next Option is much more affordable, and for those who are having a smaller wedding, this might even be something you could do on every table! With a variety of floral colors to choose from, these simple flower and candle tubes remove the traditional bore and replace it with something truly stunning to admire!
3) Gold Hoops
These gold hoops, while sold alone, provide an excellent starting point to build a truly unique and breathtaking centerpiece! While slightly more expensive on their own, a set of 10 that can be doubled up or used alone, will run you less than $700! Now, as you’ll need some extra goodies to really make these into something special, it may not be an economical choice for all the tables, but whether you choose to have just one for your head table, or spread a few out amongst the crowd, these gold hoops are sure to make a striking impact as your table decor!
While it’s true that I always recommend something a little more out of the box if you want to make an impact with your table decor, these personalized lanterns had to be included! Simple, yet striking and with the ability to customize them, they would certainly stand out! I love the clean white color with the black text as shown in the example. If you really want them to be striking, add some multicolored candles into the mix and your set!
5) Glass Terrariums With Lighting
Following along the same lines as above, these beautiful glass terrariums look stunning on their own, but when you add some lighting then they really steal the show! The beauty of these terrariums is the variable shapes. Put one, two or three onto a table and you instantly have a centerpiece that is visually interesting! Also, did I mention that they’re dirt cheap!
6) Hexagonal Wooden Centerpieces
The name really says it all about these beauties! There’s really not much more to say; they’re hexagonal in shape and made from wood! But seriously, add some candles and greenery to these and you’d have one of the most gorgeous centerpieces of all time! Though they are a bit pricey for a single, I think you’d find that they are still decently economical, and the seller may even give you a bulk order discount!
7) Dusty Wooden Box With Floral Arrangement
This Beautiful wooden boxed floral arrangement speaks for itself! With striking colors and an exceptional build and design, this centerpiece is truly something unique! While not the most economical option available, It’s certainly one of the cutest!
8) Wine Bottles
I love glass bottle centerpieces. They offer a wide variety of options to truly make the setup your own! Whether you’re sticking flowers, feathers, or twigs out of the top, or simply wrapping them in vine with a selection of floral/greenery at the base, glass bottles offer a special look that not many take advantage of!
These light bulb vases are something truly unique. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them used at a wedding, and I’ve shot over 500! But just because something hasn’t been done, doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t! These beautiful vases come in a set of two for $25, ready to go! Honestly, not a bad deal, all you’d need is some flowers!
This brilliant arrangement along with its stand, is something truly spectacular. In fact, when I saw that you could order one for less than $30, I knew that it had to be included! Now, while it’s true that the larger options will cost you more, it’s certainly not a waist! Whether you go small and place them on all the tables or just buy your head table a large one, I know you won’t be disappointed!
Well, I hope that you found this list helpful. There are way too many options for table decor, and often couples get overwhelmed and simply settle, but I say no to settling! Make your centerpieces something that you and your guests will always remember!
