Recently I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session with Dan and Veronica on the Oregon Coast! They won a free engagement session in February and had to put it off for a few months due to COVID-19 but we got to the coast in the end and it may have been a blessing because we were almost the only ones out there.

They both live in Astoria and were willing to travel down the coast to Manzanita, OR to find some epic cliffs and a gorgeous beach to do their photographs at. The weather was saying cloudy all day but it turned out to be perfect!

We took a little hike off the main road down to some amazing cliffs and then headed to the beach for the last bit of light during sunset. Dan has been on quite a few hikes in the area and said there were other cliffs in the area which were just as epic - future engagement session maybe?!?

Now, the Pacific ocean is not known for its warm temperatures but these guys were so willing to get in the water despite it being freezing. Needless to say none of use could feel our feet by the end of the shoot!

Doing these engagement sessions really allows Kate and I to meet some amazing couples and get to travel to places in Oregon we have not had a chance to photograph yet.
