A Beautiful Wedding at Mt. View Orchard in Hood River, OR
With wide open fields and extraordinary foliage, Rebecca and Tom’s wedding was something truly amazing! The natural beauty of the venue was only outshone by the couple themselves!
Rebecca and Tom are an amazing couple! They met through a dating app and connected over a shared love of photography, specifically of the natural kind! Rebecca prefers to get up close and personal with her photos as she focuses on macro photography, meanwhile Tom likes to take it all in by capturing landscapes! Both Rebecca and Tom love to hike, and it was on one such hike where Tom proposed to Rebecca! Of course, she said yes! While they’re jobs don’t get them outdoors much (Rebecca is a 911 dispatcher and Tom is a meteorologist), Tom did mention his hopes to take Rebecca on a multi-day trek through the 3 Sisters Loop in Bend someday soon!
While it’s true that weather on Rebecca and Tom’s wedding day was less than perfect, with a mixture of showers and dry spells, it was still a glorious day and a beautiful wedding! Their wedding colors were dusty blue and sage green, a pair which were almost as perfect and Rebecca and Tom themselves! The day started as usual with some detail photos and getting ready portraits, and then onto the first look we went! It was a really special moment and it’s always so much fun to see the groom react to the bride! At the ceremony, we were greeted to an Arbor with fresh florals, which made for a perfect backdrop to the happy couple exchanging vows! Of course, we can’t forget the bridal party portraits! Both Rebecca and Tom had 4 compatriots on their respective sides, and they all looked amazing as well! Shooting Rebecca and Tom’s wedding day was such a huge honor and I know just how much they enjoyed their wedding day! So, here’s to you both, Rebecca and Tom!
