Annie + Adam
There are so many incredible moments from Annie and Adam’s elegant wedding that it’s hard to pick a favorite. From Annie mentioning that she worked on her vows for an entire year, keeping a little notebook of the sweet, funny, or endearing things that she loved about her and Adams’s relationship, to the two family pups both sporting wedding ties and cruising around guests during cocktail hour for love and pets, to the hoeur d’oeuvres and main course both featuring Salmon that Annie’s father caught himself while fishing in Alaska: this wedding was one for the record books!
Dom and I met Annie and Adam while photographing their good friends, Brad and Gillette’s wedding. It was so fun to arrive in Sisters Oregon at the Sidor Residence to see Gigi and run over to her for a big hug!
Annie was upstairs getting the final touches put on her hairstyle and looked just as cool, calm, and collected as she always does. Annie and Adam are just genuinely sweet amazing people and planning a “backyard wedding” at the gorgeous home of Annie’s parents was the perfect way to celebrate and get to spend the most time they could with friends and family.
Two days prior to the wedding, The Crux Fermentation Project of which Annie’s father is the master brewer, hosted a “welcome party” for guests and friends to mingle, enjoy delicious drinks and get to spend quality time with Annie and Adam before the rush of the wedding day.
On the drive over to the meadow where Adam and Annie shared their first look, Adam told me that it was the perfect way to make sure he and Annie had plenty of one-on-one time with each one of their guests.
At their ceremony, Annie and Adam shared their vows that had literally everyone in tears, and their faithful pup Samwise patiently sat, waiting for them to take the rings from his collar to make things official!
After a first kiss and a cheers with (of course) a custom brew from Crux Annie and Adam escaped to the house to sign the license and then joined their guests out on the greenest lawn in all of central Oregon to enjoy delicious bites, tasty drinks and tons of congratulations.
The evening stretched on with dinner, toasts, first dances and even a choreographed “footloose” dance performed by the bridal party who had been practicing their footwork at every spare moment of the day.
I’m excited to include just a small selection of images from Annie and Adam’s incredible wedding day below. Be sure to leave them a comment of congratulations at the end!
