Hannah + Jordan

Sometimes when Dom and I meet couples, they just feel like kindred spirits from the get-go. Hannah and Jordan were such a couple! With their infection laughter, adorable and lengthy relationship history, and love of all things family, we quickly went from acquaintances to friends while strolling through the beautiful grounds of Seattle’s Warren G. Magnuson Park during their gorgeous engagement session.

Hannah and Jordan have been dating for over 10 years and their wedding day is a long-awaited moment for their family and friends.

Early on in their dating, Hannah threw Jordan into the deep end in a sort of sink-or-swim moment when she invited him over to hang out with her Aunt, Uncle and cousins who she views as sisters. Jordan passed the test with flying colors, playing HOURS of bad-mitten with Hannah’s cousins trying to satiate their 10 and 11-year old bottomless energy reserves and impressing Hannah’s uncle Chris who felt Jordan fit right in.

Hannah had found herself falling for Jordan quite quickly after only a couple dates, and after numerous lengthy conversations while she was on a trip to New York just had this last “family-test” to know that Jordan was the one.

Hannah and Jordan had met as undergrads while attending Washington University, and after graduating Jordan ended up continuing on to do his masters at UW while Hannah pursued hers at Washington University. Jordan laughed about all the miles he put on while commuting between the schools to spend as much time with Hannah as possible, despite the heavy academic work load they both were experiencing.

Hannah and Jordan both have the travel bug and are planning an epic honeymoon to England and Scotland once the borders open up to travel fully. On their must-do travel list is also France, Germany and Norway.

Hannah and Jordan used to spend afternoons hanging out at Warren G. Magnuson Park, so when we were brainstorming places to do their engagement session this was at the top of their list!

Dom and I had never been to this park before and we had a blast wandering around to both new areas and Hannah and Jordan’s old pick-nicking spots while they entertained us with stories about their colorful family history.

Hannah and Jordan will be married at the Great Hall in Green Lakes and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of what will surely be both a joyful and emotional wedding celebration!

Check out some of my favorite images from an evening spent with these two beautiful souls.

Cheers to you Jordan and Hannah!
