They have weathered the storms of life, moving from the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon, to Ann Arbor, Michigan, and eventually finding themselves in the enchanting town of Sitka, Alaska, Soren's hometown.
Anna and Soren's relationship is not just built on love but also on shared interests and hobbies. They are avid gamers who find joy and excitement in board games and video games, often embarking on virtual adventures together. Their friendly competition and mutual enjoyment of gaming have undoubtedly strengthened their bond, creating cherished memories along the way.
In addition to their gaming endeavors, Anna and Soren recently welcomed a new addition to their family—a Corgi named Q-Bone, named after the popular Pokémon character. Q-Bone has become an integral part of their lives, bringing joy and laughter to their home in Sitka. Together, they have lovingly trained their furry companion, known to shower affection upon unsuspecting tourists, making him a beloved member of their local community.

On a picturesque May day filled with sunshine and blooming flowers, Anna and Soren exchanged vows at the stunning Lakeside Gardens. The tranquil lake was the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The joy and love radiated from the couple as they pledged their eternal commitment to one another.
Anna and Soren’s bold wedding featured pinks, corals, and blues both in the bridge jewel tones such as Soren donned for his groom’s attire, and in the softer pastel shades that Anna dressed her bridesmaids in. Anna chose to offer a mis-matched look allowing each of her bridesmaids to choose the cut of their dresses and then pairing them in various hues of chiffon that perfectly matched with both the stunning scenery of the gardens, and complimented the groomsmen’s grey suits and matching colored ties.
The reception space was accented with blue napkins and the impressive florals provided cheerful pops of pinks and oranges wherever you looked. The romantic garden setting was ideal for Anna, who for her own bridal look chose a modern silky dress and a cathedral-length veil embellished with floral stitchwork in green tones.
The reception was a celebration of their love, with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and dancing that lasted well into the night. Highlights of the evening included Anna and Soren’s energetic dancing, and Anna’s sister’s speech which got everyone into both stitches of laughter and made more than one guest tear up. Soren and his mom also busted quite the impressive moves on the dance floor for their dance, and Anna and her friends kept the party going right to the very end with their dancing and excitement throughout the night!
