A Stunning Maternity Session in the Columbia River Gorge
Every once in a while as a photographer you get the ultimate privilege of photographing your friends while celebrating giant life milestones. I’ve known Adi and Alex for several years now, and I was so very pleased when they announced their pregnancy!
Adi and Alex are just the most wonderful couple, the kind of people who will go out of their way to help their friends, offering support in any way possible and always down for an adventure! Adi is an incredible entrepreneur and CEO of a very successful company and is always the first one to offer business help or advice at the drop of a hat! Alex is someone you rarely see without a smile on his face and is not only a successful entrepreneur himself, but also has dedicated his life to working at a non-profit fighting daily to make this world a better place.
I couldn’t imagine two better people to raise a child, and to be able to be a part of this amazing time in their lives is something I treasure!
Adi contacted me last winter to reserve a date for her Maternity Session, and after tossing a few ideas back and forth, we settled on a Sunday in February out in the Gorge at a little-known photo spot I keep in my back pocket for truly special occasions.
Poor Alex, little did we realize that we’d planned our shoot on Superbowl Sunday just an hour before kickoff! He was, of course, the most amazing sport about the whole thing and I made sure to let him take off a little early so he could celebrate at least the second half of the game while I continued to fawn over how much of a goddess Adi is as the evening light turned golden and lit up the stunning Gorge.
