A Seaside Engagement Session in Edmonds, WA
Engagement photography sessions are the best time to meet our couples, especially when the location is as beautiful as Edmonds, WA. I recently had the pleasure of photographing Ryan and Lauren's engagement session at a seaside location in Edmonds. These two lovebirds work together at a summer camp and have a special bond that was evident in every shot.
The location Ryan and Lauren chose for their engagement session was on the seaside in Edmonds near the ferry terminal. Living nearby, Lauren and Ryan frequent this particular stretch of oceanside beach and the upper walkway to give their pup evening walks while chatting together, their conversation flowing as easily as the gentle waves that lap the shore. The stunning views of this spot were the perfect picturesque backdrop for their engagement photos!
Ryan and Lauren were an absolute joy to work with. Lauren had selected two lovely dresses and braved the chilly wind while constantly laughing and smiling at Ryan’s side. These two were naturals in front of the camera, and eager to share adventurous stories of their travels and experiences together. The love and connection Ryand and Lauren share was evident in every photograph: from the sweet moments they shared while walking hand in hand, to the playful interactions they had during all the different poses we tried out. Ryan was even game to do a few of the more advanced “lifting” poses that turned out to be some of my favorite of the whole evening!
As the sun began to set, the golden light filtered through the cloudcover illuminated the surroundings, adding an extra touch of magic to their engagement session. The icy blue and pale yellow of the sky and the water created a dreamy and romantic atmosphere, perfectly complementing Ryan and Lauren's love story.
It’s been an honor to be a part of their wedding journey thus far, and I cannot wait for their wedding and to see what the future holds for these two!
