When you hear a story like Destaney and Ryan’s, it’s hard not to believe in fate. Considering all the little things that had to come together to put these two amazing people in the same space (including a saucy and match-making grandmother!) it really does put confidence that the world turns in mysterous ways to bring people together!

When Ryan first met Destaney, it was via his grandmother who he was visiting in the hospital that Destaney worked at. His grandmother made a few remarks to Ryan, wondering out loud if she was married or not, and soon Ryan couldn’t help but notive that Destaney must be an exceptionally caring nurse, as she seemed to be visiting his grandmother’s room quite frequently!

Working up the courage to ask her out for coffee, Destaney and Ryan went on their first date that a few years later led them to their gorgeous wedding at at East Fork Country Estate.

After a blistering weekend of 90+ degree heat last week, seeing some cooler weather roll in was a sigh of relief and provided an incredibly comfortable atmosphere for Ryand and Destaney’s wedding.

Their day started with hair and makeup up in the bridal suite where Destaney, her sister and her two other bridesmaids enjoyed recieving the talents of Pure Elegance Artistry who helped bring their envisioned wedding looks to life.

Diana, Grady and the incredible team at East Fork Country Estate worked to put every detail into place while the weedding party redied themselves for the big day. Ryan and Destany chose to be married in East Fork’s stunning lawn, with reception following in their tented garden. The tables were set with centerpiece florals from Songbird Floristry, sage napkins, and little wooden centerpieces.

Ryan had hand-crafted the most stunning welcome sign I’ve ever seen that sat prominently at the front of the venue as guests arrived to celebrate he and Destaney’s union.

Their ceremony was so sweet and Destaney and Ryan’s vows literally left not a single dry eye as they both choked up on the emotion and joy of the day.

Destaney, Ryan and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal and danced the night away until an epic sparkler exit where they would be whisked off to wherever life will take them.

Working with this incredibly generous couple has been a dream, and I am looking forward to many more photo sessions with them as their family grows!
