Taylor + Joshua
Oh man, I honestly can’t say enough about this incredible couple! When Dom and I first met Tylor and Joshua it was just one of those moments where you instantly click and become fast friends for life!
Driving to eastern Oregon for their engagement session in the Painted Hills at sunrise, Dom and Joshua got on famously and I knew Taylor was my kind of girl when she not only navigated the uneven ground around the park in heels, but she also felt comfortable just kicking them off and happily trekked barefoot in the chill of the early morning!
Being along side Taylor and Joshua’s wedding planning has been so much fun, as they both have thrown their heart and soul into creating a perfect wedding day. Taylor created all her decorations DIY style and even added personal touches on her wedding day heels, embellishing their heels and tow straps with gorgeous elements timing them all together with her sparkling, Champaign gown.
Taylor and Joshua choose to host their wedding out in Chehalis at this stunning property called Red Barn Studios. This expansive venue boasts some of the most stunning rural backdrop for portraits that I’ve ever seen and the two-story barn was perfect for the rustic-chic style of Taylor and Joshua’s sunflower adorned wedding day.
When we arrived, Taylor was busy running around and putting together all the decorations in the reception hall in between doing her own makeup and ensuring everything was in place. Dom and I were able to spend ample time photographing the details of Taylor’s wedding-day which included hand-written vows, a new engagement ring, her custom shoes and a beautiful selection of jewelry.
Taylor’s hair was done by the very talented Jackie Parres (Instagram: @hairbyjackieparres) who took Taylor’s icy blond locks and created a stunning braided look that framed her face perfectly from the front and back.
Slipping into her dress, Taylor shared a first look with her wedding part and her father before she and Joshua met back-to-back to read their private vows to each other before sharing their own quite emotional first look.
After portraits Taylor and Joshua’s guests began filling in beneath the stunning archway adorned with the floral artwork of @barefoot.farmersally.
Joshua and Taylor’s ceremony was lovely and perfect for the two of them, sharing their love together and celebrating their recessional to an exit filled with bubbles floating in the air.
A bar-b-que dinner, dancing and cake cutting followed as the summer day stretched into a lovely evening. Making their getaway amid a celebratory tunnel of fireworks, Taylor and Joshua escaped to be whisked away to their honeymoon.
