When my wife and I began planning our wedding, we shopped around and met with a few photographers, but we didn’t seem to find that spark we were looking for.

That all changed, once we met Kate.

She was always smiling, and there was never a dull moment.

Like most couples, we went through a few changes leading up to the big day, and Kate was always flexible with us in change. On the day of our wedding, Kate always seemed 10 steps ahead of us.

“My husband and I had an amazing experience with Kate! She listened to everything we wanted, she responded almost immediately to every email we sent and had the unbelievably impressive quality of being exactly where we needed her the whole day.

She was invisible until I wanted her and then she was always right next to me. 
The pictures she took captured the wedding perfectly.

The day went so fast and I was so busy that I looked back and really wanted something to show me what it felt like and her pictures did exactly that. They're beautifully composed and extremely flattering and she somehow makes them all seem candid but so perfect it's as if we were posing.

I would recommend her to absolutely anyone, she made everything so easy and blended in perfectly while controlling the crowds as needed.

Our whole experience with her was above and beyond--my husband hates getting his photo taken and never feels flattered by the camera and he raves about her constantly every time it comes up.

“What can I say about Kate except that she was the main reason (outside of saying "I do" of course) my wedding day was so perfect!

I got married at Mcmenamins Edgefield and if you are familiar with that campus it is quite large. Kate was so willing to run around capturing all the moments I was wanting to have captured. Such as the men playing golf on the field and the ladies getting their hair and makeup done (which was happening at the same time!) Not once did she complain or express doubts. She smiled the whole time and was by my side making sure to get the pictures I was hoping for.

And then I received the pictures and WOW did she follow through. Her artistic talent to sync with my line of vision of the wedding day and actually capture it and produce it has me awestruck. 

I would recommend her to EVERYONE! From brides to an unlimited budget and even to brides with a smaller budget. Kate is your girl. She was definitely mine!”

“I am not sure there are words to accurately describe how awesome, kind, talented, outgoing and patient Kate is as a photographer. She has an amazing eye for detail and can make two awkward people feel at ease and capture us at our best.

From the first meeting, she made it clear that this needed to be a good fit for us both so the day of was everything I could have dreamed of. She put any questions or concerns I may have had at ease. She was patient with my questions and always gave me a through response no matter what small timeline detail I was looking at.

After the engagement photos, we knew we had the right person. What sold me instantly was Kate's ability to capture my husbands silly side that normally only I see. She started early with us and went all day to capture our wedding. I have received many comments and compliments about how hard of a worker she is, so it was noticed by friends and family the efforts she put into capturing every detail and moment for us. She was not afraid to climb on items, stand in prickers or take the time to ensure the shot was captured. She went above and beyond all day long and always had a smile on her face.

We are beyond thrilled over the photos we have gotten back and have shared them many times over at this point. She has been great with meeting photo turnaround deadlines and has been great at communicating with us.

We'd recommend Kate Holt over anybody because she not only has the gift of a great photographic eye, but perhaps more importantly, has the knack of putting everybody at ease - something you cannot underestimate at a large event that is fraught with emotion, unexpected "wrinkles" etc.
